Choose a cutter size

The size label refers to the longest edge of the bounding rectangle around the entire cutout. That edge can be the width or the height. Compare both measurements in your chosen product's description and size options before ordering.

For example, these two 4-inch options have different dimensions:

• Cute Fish 4 Cookie Cutter: 4.0 inches wide by 2.8 inches tall.
• Cute Kitty 3 Cookie Cutter: 3.0 inches wide by 4.0 inches tall.

For a set, read the set description and check any individual cutter listings for specific measurements. The Alphabet Letters full set, for example, directs shoppers to its individual listings for each letter's dimensions.

Choose cut depth separately

Size describes the cutout's width and height. Cut Depth is a separate choice. Check the available options on your selected product page; the examples linked above currently offer 1/2-inch, 3/4-inch and 1-inch options.

The example product descriptions note that the stated cut depth includes the handle. If you need to confirm the usable cutting height, contact us before ordering.

Care for your cutter

Check the material and care notes on your product page. The PLA plastic cutters in the examples above are hand wash only and are not dishwasher safe.
